Ping is an institution in the Golf industry leading innovation and design of golf clubs. They approached Nerdery in need of bringing their internal sales system up to date to suit the product better while solving inefficiencies and a growing need for distributors to manage purchase orders.
Retailers needed to quickly drop into the system to view orders, invoices, and resources alongside working with customers. We needed to supply them easily digestible content that was organized in a logical IA.
After two weeks of discovery we found that their system was bogged down with duplicative permissions and confusing user accounts. Employees and retailers created workarounds for most pain points and then trained new team members using them.
We refined the user types and their permissions so onboarding was simple and supplied them with dashboard views that suited each user type.
